​I received a call from home saying, "you have a giant envelope here from the White House."  It was my internship acceptance package.

​A highly visible and accountable role, my internship responsibilities were to serve the public as a government relations liaison for the Offices of Science Technology and Policy, and Presidential Inquiries.

That summer, I met/saw Al Gore, Hilary Clinton, Madeleine Albright, Betty Currie, Mike McCurry, Secret Service men, and of course, President Clinton at his birthday party in the Rose Garden.
